Power distribution networks

For decades, the debate has raged about the most economical, efficient and safe way to distribute electricity. The reliability of the electricity infrastructure and grid interconnectability are now seen as key to a sustainable supply of electrical power.
Fossil fuels are being phased out and decentralised renewable energy generation is becoming the norm. This places new demands on the distribution networks. To make cities more liveable, the car is banned and public transport strengthened with the development of new lines and the extension of existing ones. All players want to secure their supply sources, improve reliability and efficiency and protect the environment.
